Todos A100 is everything you want from a smart card reader; just much smaller.
This “thinspired” beauty packs our latest security innovations into a portable package that’s less than 4mm thin and about the same size as a credit card.
It continues the Todos tradition of building trustworthy devices that combine security with ease of use. In particular, the A100 is:
- Portable. At just 3.9mm thin and just slightly smaller than a credit card, the A100 fits easily into customers’ purses and pockets. When banks offer devices that are convenient, people are more likely to use them.
- Easy to use. Featuring a two-line LCD display, the A100 can display simple instructions in natural language, making it much easier to use. This reduces the cost of technical support for banks.
- Secure. The A100 includes Todos’s unique technology, including Dynamic Signatures (which allows banks to vary the level of authentication depending on a transaction’s risk level) and Secure Domain Separation (which ensures that online shopping, banking, logins and signatures are cryptographically separate).
- Innovative. The A100 rejects the status quo of boring, inflexible, hard-to-use, bulky devices. It is compact, stylish and technically sophisticated. For example, the membrane keypad features tactile feedback but also allows overprinting.
- Brandable. Banks can print their own graphics on the front of the device and pre-load it with their own text for the LCD display.
