Todos and Biometria Aplicada to bring Strong Authentication to Mexico

Todos has announced a strategic partnership agreement with Biometria Aplicada, a leading provider of identification solutions primarily based on biometric technology.

Mexico’s shift to EMV credit cards, combined with high Internet fraud rates, creates a rapidly growing domestic market demand for Strong Authentication. By becoming an official Todos business partner, Biometrica Aplicada is authorized to introduce the Todos eCode™ comprehensive product line of secure authentication solutions to the Mexican banking market.

Per Skygebjerg, Executive Vice President, Todos; “Biometrica Aplicada is a given choice business partner in Mexico, their company profile matches Todos’ perfectly, and I am confident that our eCode™ system is the perfect tool to battle fraud and meet market potential in this very interesting region”.

An essential part of Todos’ growth strategy is to establish local presence to serve the needs of Strong Authentication around the globe. Partnering with Biometria Aplicada – one of Mexico’s premier solution providers – is yet another important step to increase Todos’ presence throughout the Latin American
region. Biometria Aplicada’s coverage area, expertise and commitment to customer service will allow Todos not only to fully cover the Mexican market, but also gain momentum within the entire Latin American region.

Adolfo Loera, Chief Executive Officer, Biometria Aplicada; “By incorporating the excellent and unique Todos eCode™ solution in our portfolio we can provide our Mexican and Latin American customers with the latest in remote authentication technology combined with our own biometric solutions, thus enabling the best user authentication available.”
