China Construction Bank (CCB), one of the largest state-owned banks in China, keeps paying great attention to using the leading security technologies in its internal- and customer services systems.
Early in 2003, CCB’s Sichuan Branch adopted Todos’s OTP solution based on “Signature & Smart Card” for authentication of its 8500 tellers. As a result of this success, CCB selected Todos as the dedicated security product manufacturer for its entire eBanking authentication and safe-payment services.
The CCB’s eBanking services include eBanking , Telephone Banking and Mobile Banking in which the printed OTPs – Todos inPrint - is supplied as a cost efficient strong authentication solution for the mass private customers who use the eBanking services with less frequency. By the end of September 2009, more than 12 million Todos inPrint cards had been issued - a demonstration of Todos’s impressive fulfillment concept.
In the Universal Application Authentication Platform (UAAP), which was built for the authentication of all the inner systems, ezToken was selected for CCB’s clerks. To date, about 100.000 of pieces have been supplied.
